Are your yoga mats machine washable?

Yes. The Asset Mat is a fully machine-washable yoga mat for easy care after hot yoga, Pilates, and everyday movement. We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with cold water and using one of our recommended gentle detergents to help maintain the mat’s shape, texture, and longevity.

For best results:

  • Wash separately
  • Use cold water on a delicate cycle
  • Use gentle, fragrance-free detergents
  • Do not place in the dryer
  • Hang or dry flat indoors to dry
  • Avoid direct sunlight, heat exposure, or drying near windows, as prolonged UV exposure may affect the Alcantara surface over time

Can I use regular detergent on The Asset machine-washable yoga mat?

We recommend using a gentle, fragrance-free detergent when washing your machine-washable yoga mat. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals to help preserve the Alcantara surface long-term.

Recommended options include:

How should I clean my mat between machine washes?

For light refreshes between machine washes, wipe down your machine-washable yoga mat with a soft, damp cloth after practice and allow it to fully air-dry before rolling or storing. We recommend hanging or drying the mat flat indoors and avoiding direct sunlight or drying it near windows.

Are these mats good for hot yoga?

Yes. The microfiber surface is designed to absorb moisture during sweat-heavy sessions, while the non-slip rubber base helps keep the mat grounded and stable through every pose and transition.

Is The Asset Mat good for travel?

Do you offer international shipping?

We currently only ship within the U.S. We hope to add international shipping in the future.

What’s your return policy?

If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. To begin a return, please contact our support team at hello@theassetbrand.com.

How should I care for my strap?

Yoga straps should be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. To help maintain their structure and durability, we do not recommend machine washing.
